On Samuel Amess Dr off Phillip Island Rd to the west of Newhaven, this site encompasses a number of different habitats, from remnant woodland through open parkland with ponds and samphire flats, to the mudflats around the bridge, all to the south of the bridge to Churchill Island just to the north.
