On the Western Hwy about 7km north of Stawell at Deep Lead, the Old Glenorchy Rd heads NW, the reserve is just west of it and has a small dam that usually has water in it, a small track gives access away from the road in the good woodland that is cut by a powerline.
camp rating 6 best along the track away from the busy highway, there is no established campsite here.
