About 79km west of Nyngan on the Barrier Hwy at the locality of Boppy Mountain, Booroomugga Rd heads north into the forest. The site is about 4km along it near a floodway. There is good looking woodland here, perhaps the lack of birds is due to the goats here?

No camping is allowed here, the local farmer seems to have a particularly belligerent attitude if the signs he’s put up are anything to go by.
