On Kalabity Track about 2km SW of the homestead is the creek. It has the usual line of low trees along the creekline, but being a de-stocked reserve belonging to Bush Heritage the scrub surrounding the creek is in excellent condition, of note is the jumble of rocks on the north side.
No camping allowed here, there is a campground in the reserve that is closed over summer.
