On the Eyre Hwy at the SW corner of the park about 13km east of Kimba, the area to the west of Barna and Lake Gillies Rd look like regenerating bushland, whereas the are to the east is more intact as far as the Mallee trees go, but on the NE side the area has a maze of tracks from campers, so the undergrowth is damaged. The area is now fenced off here and cleaned up but damage remains at last survey, and people are driving around the fence and making more mess.
