From St George follow the Wyenbah Rd south for 41km, near the homestead turn onto the Lower Plains Rd, and the site is about 500m along at the middle channel which is the main one. From Dirranbandi it is about 25km north along Horace St. The river usually has at least some water in it with good woodland along the banks becoming more sparse as on goes further into the farmland.
Camp rating 6 the best spot is on the NE bank, but you can’t get far off the road.
