From Violet Town take the Murchison Rd west to Old Euroa Rd and head SW. to the corner with Mahers Rd. The site is based at the corner with the grassland reserve to the south. To the north is a creekline and farm dam in partially cleared land. The reserve is grassy woodland in good condition.
No camping here. Nearby is Balmattum Grassland shed which I think you are allowed to camp at.
