This site is about 15km north of the flood road off the Birdsville Track, but if you don’t have a map that shows it or a gps as above, you’ll never find it, the gps reference is on the track, the waterhole is two sand dunes to the East of the track about 400m, and if it’s got water in it, you’ll be in Birdsville Track heaven, don’t forget to enjoy the sand dunes and valley on the way there and back, as the shrubs and trees can also hold gems.
