This is the premier spot for the Golden-shouldered Parrot and is on the Peninsular Development Rd north of Dixie Rd, they can be found along the road to the south of the creek, but if you get permission from the homestead you can wander around the property and get a much rounder picture of the bird diversity here. If you can afford it, it is recommended that you pay Sue to come out and help you find them, they aren’t easy to find once they stop feeding. There is camping at the homestead on Dixie Rd and they’ve even got a hot shower.
