On the Eastern edge of town on Murphy’s Rd, the ponds are not accessible, but you can get a good enough view of the birds through the fence. Like any source of water in the desert this site could turn out some interesting sightings. There is a nice bit of scrub along a track to the south of the ponds where the bush birds hang out.
No camping is advised here
