The site is about 5 km north of Wedderburn on the right hand side of the Calder hwy heading north along Mount Kerang Rd, it is far enough off the hwy to be a good campsite, the best spots are amongst the trees which are away from the toilet and picnic table. The water level fluctuates in the abandoned dam but is generally low, the tree coverage is good, the ground coverage average to poor
