I just love this spot, it’s hard to find, as it looks like you’re driving through farmland to get to it, so no one ever gets here, it’s off the Flinders Hwy between Talia and Colton where an unlocked gate allows for a drive along a fenceline down to the reserve. When you get to the reserve turn south and the campground is at the end of the track. The site isn’t level so camping is a bit awkward, but the peace and tranquillity of the area easily makes up for it. The bird life is quite prolific, and there’s even a little trickle of a spring down by the lake to soak your feet in at the end of a long day. There are no facilities.
Camp rating 10 despite there being no facilities here
