This used to be a site for the Noisy Scrub-bird and the Western Whipbird, both have disappeared from this site, leaving only the Western Bristlebird as a sought after species to be found here. The heathland is still in excellent condition, and beach still attractive. It is important to get here pre-dawn to get any chance of seeing the bristlebirds. There is now a day fee to enter the reserve.
There is no camping anywhere in the reserve
