About 2km SE of Walpole on the South West Hwy, the Coalmine Beach loop Rd heads west along the coast. The lookout is over Nornalup Inlet, not far from where the road first comes to the water. The Bibbulmun Track runs through here, with good heathland and littoral woodland.
