Wurruma Swamp Qld

Survey Point Wurruma Swamp Qld
Latitude -17.7016700 (17° 42′ 6″ S)
Longitude 145.1286100 (145° 7′ 43″ E)

This site is a hidden gem, when water levels are good, it’s a really nice spot. The track off the Kennedy Hwy in Mount Garnet is unmarked and has an unlocked gate to go through, the swamp is about 3km SE from town. There is a picnic table here but no toilet and no camping. As the list suggests the bush birding here isn’t great in the woodland. Cattle have access to the area so the edge is usually trashed.

No camping is allowed here
