On Hutchison St at the north end of town, oasis it ain’t, it’s a dusty uninviting caravan park if ever there was one, and Coober Pedy is now not much more than a tourist trap, or a place to freshen up before heading on, but because there’s water and food here human tolerant species do well. A creekline runs nearby with a thin strip of dense vegetation.
Camp rating 1 this is a poor caravan park, stay away unless you really need to stop in town.
