About 62km east of the the Oodnadatta Track, the track heads off about 12km south of William Creek. this is the official campground for which you need a permit to camp that must be pre-booked. The lake is usually dry, but even when it is dry it’s still an awesome sight as the salt flat stretches out to the east. The vegetation is sparse, but there are birds here. There is a toilet here.

Camp rating 7 if there is water in the lake then it’s higher. There are national park fees to camp here plus day entry fees, there are toilets here.
