About 1km east of the Mount Carbine Roadhouse on the Mulligan Hwy, when the tailings dam has enough water in it the wetland birding here is phenomenal, the surrounding bushland birding can be patchy. There are no entry signs here now
Camp rating 5 About 2km west along the Mulligan Hwy is the Mount Carbine Cemetery, it’s possible to camp opposite it, there is no established campsite here.
